Good efficiency descaling, for end products without oxidation when inspected visually. It is adjustable to match a definite range of rod diameters and rolling speed. Optimization of efficiency by selection of proper sanding belt grain, and by sanding belt speed adjustment. It removes rod surface defects, if any.

ORBITAL
BRUSHING
UNIT

It is made up of rotating brushes that besides rotating on their axis, rotate all around the rod. Often combined with mechanical roll descaling to improve its efficiency. Sometimes combined with hot water descaling unit.

HOT
WATER
UNIT

It is made up of a hot water bath, with fluid recirculation and filtering, as well as air strippers for fluid removal. Generally, it operates with water up to 100 °C. Addition of chemical detergent possible. It is used to remove drawing lubricants or bonders from pre-drawn wire surface, prior to rolling.
